If you’re reading this article, chances are you already follow me on Instagram. And if you follow me on Instagram, then you most likely know how special Dior is to me. A brand full of elegance and history, one that brings me back to my childhood and my wedding (the lipstick I wore was Dior).

My mother’s heritage
My mother is the one I have to thank the most for my passion for Dior. I still remember her empty perfume bottles gracefully placed around her room, as well as a drawer full of high end items she kept like a treasure. Surprise, surprise: I now do the same.
As she has influenced this admiration I have for the brand, it was a shame she couldn’t travel to Lisbon to go to the event with me. However, I will bring her a Dior present 😉

Mother’s Day
I was kindly invited to the Dior Beauty Mother’s Day event on the 23rd of April, at The One Palácio da Anunciada. This was a perfect location for the event. The palace was founded in 1533 but completely destroyed by the Lisbon Earthquake of 1755. Rebuilt and now a hotel, it is place of pure elegance which is perfectly fitting for Dior.

The Dior Beauty team served a light afternoon tea, offered a photography session with the esteemed Carla Pires and a fun origami session. There were also some of Dior’s perfumes and spring branding to spruce up the room.
You can see a video of the event on my Instagram.
Below, you can see a gallery of photos from the event.

Thank you for your kind invite dear Dior Beauty and Global Press teams. I’m incredibly grateful ♥️
