‘Tis coming is the season to treat ourselves and our family for the most wonderful time of the year. And whether you have saved all year for a beauty advent calendar, found that you want one or if you really, really, really want one, this post is for you!
Below are my top 5 Beauty advent calendars for 2022.
Cult Beauty advent calendar
It has 4 of their iconic products miniatures and costs a fraction of the full-size, 24 products advent calendar. In there, you can find a J’adore Eau de Parfum (5ml), Miss Dior Eau de Parfum (5ml), Dior Prestige La Micro-Huile de Rose Advanced Serum (10ml) and a mini Rouge Dior 999 lipstick with a velvet finish.
Undoubtedly, THE advent calendar of the season. The most searched for and the one that always sold me out, the Cult Beauty advent calendar is always worth 1,000€+. This, in my opinion, makes it the calendar to go for with the most for your buck.
Personally, I have tried most of the products and it doesn’t make much sense for me to buy it. However, if you haven’t tried most of the products in it or if you love them already, it makes a nice present to give yourself.
Net-a-porter beauty advent calendar
One of my favourite calendars this year is the net-a-porter. With brands like Balmain, Tata Harper, Augustinus Bader and Westman Atelier (just to name a few), this calendar is worth a whooping £1,011!
In my opinion, for the price you pay (£260), you get access to luxury brands and products, and makes it one of the most exciting advent calendars of the year! Unfortunately, it isn’t available in Portugal (sniff!).
Diptyque beauty advent calendar
Winter calls for a candle and a home scent that transpires cozy times under a blanket. That’s what this year’s Diptyque advent calendar reminds me of.
With candles and scents, this makes it the perfect gift for a perfume aficionado. Plus, the packaging screams Christmas. What more could you want?
Dr Barbara Sturm beauty advent calendar
If luxury skincare is your thing, this luxurious advent calendar is my recommendation. Dr Barbara Sturm is known for her clean, minimalist skincare brand and worth the investment.
Just the Glow Drops alone (which you can find in the calendar in full size) is worth 130€. If you can buy it, I recommend it for sure!
Dior beauty advent calendar
One of my favourite brands only creates phenomenal products and their advent calendar has been phenomenal from day one. This year, you can find a stunning illustration inside the calendar, by the artist Pietro Ruffo who designed a magical and luxurious astral world.
It also contains a 30 Montaigne limited edition candle with the same illustration, a Lucky star Christmas decoration and many other beautiful Dior creations. You can read more about it in my post here.
Bonus: Dior Mini Advent Calendar
If you don’t want to break the bank but still get your hands on a limited edition Dior gift box with the beautiful Atelier of Dreams illustration of 2022, then I highly recommend this one.
